After Installation: Chandelier Care & Maintenance Tips
Proper care of your chandelier ensures both beauty and function for years to come. Below are our recommendations for maintaining your fixture after installation:
1. General Maintenance
- Dust lightly with a feather duster or microfiber cloth every 1–2 weeks.
- Avoid spraying any cleaner directly on the fixture; always spray on a cloth first.
- Inspect for loose crystals, chains, or canopy fittings periodically.
2. Deep Cleaning
We recommend a deep clean once or twice per year depending on location, humidity, and usage. For large or high chandeliers, consider professional cleaning to avoid damage and ensure safety.
3. Bulb Replacement
- Only use bulb types and wattages recommended by the manufacturer.
- Use clean gloves or a cloth to handle bulbs, especially halogen types.
- Ensure power is off at the breaker before attempting bulb replacement.
4. Safety & Long-Term Support
If you notice any flickering lights, structural shifts, or wiring concerns, discontinue use and contact us for an evaluation. We offer chandelier cleaning, repair, and maintenance services for your peace of mind.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer a military discount?
We proudly offer a discount to active-duty service members and their immediate families. At this time, we do not extend this offer to former military or veterans whose service was in the past.
Do you remove or haul away chandelier packaging and crates?
We do not haul away boxes, crates, or packing materials for fixtures purchased independently by the customer. If a chandelier was purchased through us, we include disposal in the service. Otherwise, disposal must be arranged by the customer or quoted separately in advance.
Is lightbulb installation included?
Lightbulbs must be purchased and provided by the customer in advance. Installation is not included in standard quotes unless explicitly stated. Repeat installation or changes post-install will incur additional charges.
Can I change the bulbs after the chandelier is installed?
Yes, but post-install bulb changes are considered a separate, billable service — especially if the fixture requires ladder access, globe removal, or is no longer adjustable. This work will be quoted based on time, travel, and labor involved.
What if my fixture is heavier than expected?
Our base pricing covers chandeliers up to 50 lbs. Fixtures over this weight may require additional labor, support installation, or attic access, and will be quoted on-site before proceeding.
What if I need to reschedule?
Please provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to reschedule. Delays caused by incomplete site preparation or last-minute changes may result in additional charges.
